Spravato Clinic Experience
At Whitely Wellness, we understand that healing looks different for everyone. That’s why we offer Spravato® (esketamine) therapy—a promising option for individuals struggling with treatment-resistant depression or ongoing depressive symptoms that haven’t responded to other treatments. Spravato is administered in a calm, supportive setting, with monitoring that meets all REMS and FDA safety requirements. Our goal is to provide a space where you feel safe, seen, and supported as you explore new possibilities for relief and emotional wellness. Below is everything you need to know about starting this treatment with us—from your first contact to ongoing care.
Step 1: Contact us and Get Started
Become a Patient and Contact Us will direct your initial contact with the clinic. If another provider is referring you, they can complete our Spravato Referral Packet. Once we receive your inquiry, we’ll send you a link to complete your secure online intake forms.
Step 2: Insurance Check & Evaluation
After we receive your completed forms, we’ll verify your insurance eligibility and benefits. You’ll then be scheduled for an intake evaluation with one of our psychiatric providers—either in-office or via telehealth, depending on your preference and insurance guidelines. If you’re also interested in becoming a patient for medication management or psychotherapy, please let us know in your message or email. Many patients continue care with their existing psychiatric provider and/or therapist. We’re happy to collaborate with your care team for the best outcomes.
Step 3: Clinic Review & Insurance Authorization
Your provider will assess whether Spravato is clinically appropriate for you, considering both medical and psychological factors. If so, we’ll initiate the prior authorization process with your insurance. This can take up to 2 weeks, depending on your plan, but we do our best to expedite approval—especially in urgent cases involving TRD, MDD, or suicidal ideation.
Step 4: Begin Treatment in a Supportive Space
Once approved, you’ll begin treatment at our North Station office, where we provide a safe, calming environment tailored to your needs. What to Expect: Treatment is administered in accordance with all FDA and REMS safety guidelines, including pre-treatment assessments and at least 2 hours of post-dose monitoring. You cannot drive after treatment, so plan for a safe ride home. Bring anything that supports your comfort—headphones, music playlists, an eye mask, a blanket, etc. Our Office Environment: We offer multiple private rooms with the option to sit, lounge, or recline. Shared rooms (for 2–3 people) may be partitioned for added privacy. We do our best to honor room preferences, but space may be limited depending on the time of day. Additional Information: 🕒 Flexible Scheduling to Meet Your Needs We understand that life happens—traffic, work, family. That’s why we offer flexible appointment times: Tuesdays & Thursdays: Early appointments start at 8:00 AM, last treatment at 3:00 PM. Thursdays (Working Patients): We offer limited 4:00 PM start times by appointment only. If you arrive early or late, you may need to wait for a room or be placed in an alternate space—but we will not turn you away. Medication Logistics Spravato is delivered by a specialty pharmacy and must be on-site for your scheduled treatment. If your medication is not delivered or you are not scheduled, we will not be able to administer the dose that day. We’ll work with you to reschedule promptly.
